Funeral of Conservative Activist Charlie Kirk Set for September 21 at Arizona Stadium

The funeral date and venue for conservative activist Charlie Kirk have been officially announced. The event will take place on Sunday, September 21, at State Farm Stadium in Arizona, which can accommodate over 63,000 attendees.

President Donald Trump has confirmed his attendance at the funeral, following a video tribute posted to his Truth Social platform. In the four-minute address, Trump expressed grief and anger over Kirk’s death, calling it a “heinous assassination” that occurred on a college campus in Utah.

Kirk, 31, was shot and killed while speaking at Utah Valley University as part of his American Comeback tour. Turning Point USA (TPUSA) described him as an “American legend” whose life embodied “faith, courage, and conviction.” The organization invited supporters to “celebrate the remarkable life and enduring legacy” of Kirk, who founded TPUSA in 2013 from a small garage in Lemont, Illinois.

A statement from TPUSA highlighted Kirk’s dedication to “fighting for truth, for faith, for family, and for America,” noting his role in inspiring a generation to uphold freedom and conviction. His legacy, the statement said, would endure through his family, TPUSA, and the millions he influenced.
