Christian author Frank Turek described his firsthand account of the moment Charlie Kirk was fatally shot, detailing the frantic 4-mile journey to the hospital. Turek, who was wearing a white shirt and making hand motions during the incident, shared details previously unknown to the public.
He recalled, “He was looking past me right into eternity. He was with Jesus already. He was killed instantly and felt absolutely no pain.” Turek emphasized that Charlie Kirk did not suffer, stating, “If that’s any comfort at all, Charlie didn’t suffer.”
Turek described the chaos following the shooting, including efforts to transport Kirk in an SUV with an open door for four miles. He recounted the team’s desperate attempts to stop the bleeding and perform CPR, though no interventions succeeded. Despite the hospital’s later restoration of a pulse, Kirk was declared dead after 20–30 minutes.
Turek also mentioned the calm demeanor of Kirk’s security team during the crisis but acknowledged skepticism from some online observers. He stressed that his account reflects his personal experience without asserting any wrongdoing by those involved.
