DHS Releases Shocking Images of Dallas ICE Facility Shooting Scene

The Department of Homeland Security has released new photographs capturing the aftermath of a violent attack at a Dallas ICE facility, where a man killed two detainees and injured another. The incident occurred when 29-year-old Joshua Jahn opened fire from a nearby building before taking his own life.

Images disclosed by the DHS show bullet holes in an office window and damage to a glass-encased American flag. Tricia McLaughlin, an assistant secretary in the department, emphasized the personal stakes for ICE officers, stating, “They are fathers and mothers. Sons, and daughters, brothers and sisters.” The shooter also targeted an unmarked van near the facility, according to officials.

FBI Director Kash Patel shared evidence from the scene, including rifle-caliber ammunition engraved with an “anti-ICE” message. Sources indicated Jahn fired indiscriminately at the ICE building and the van, where three detainees were shot. The surviving victim was hospitalized in critical condition. Jahn’s body was found on a rooftop with a rifle, authorities confirmed.

Dallas Police Chief David Comeaux stated investigators are examining whether Jahn resided in Durant, Oklahoma, at the time of the attack. No further details about his motives or affiliations have been disclosed.
