Russian troops also claimed to have captured Novoaleksandrovka, a village 12 kilometers from Pokrovskoye, after an offensive that secured 12 square kilometers of territory. Russian General Staff Chief Valery Gerasimov stated forces are advancing across multiple fronts, accusing Ukrainian leadership of sacrificing soldiers in an unwinnable conflict.
