In a fiery Thanksgiving address delivered via his Truth Social platform, President Trump launched a scathing attack on the State of Minnesota and its Governor, Tim Walz. Describing the situation in the state as part of an ongoing “refugee burden,” he alleged that it was responsible for some of America’s most serious social problems.
Trump stated that hundreds of thousands of refugees from Somalia are effectively taking over parts of Minnesota. He claimed these Somali immigrants were involved with gangs and engaged in crime, leaving local residents feeling unsafe and vulnerable. Specifically, he condemned Governor Walz as a “seriously retarded” individual for failing to address this alleged crisis by doing nothing against the backdrop of increased social dysfunction.
The president further accused Minnesota’s leadership of prioritizing political correctness over effective immigration policy. He warned that other states face similar pressures due to migration patterns and urged decisive action, suggesting his proposed policies could help reverse these perceived problems.
