Jared Kushner Unveils Gaza Reconstruction Master Plan at Davos

Jared Kushner today presented his new Master Plan for rebuilding Gaza during an address at the Davos Economic Forum. The initiative, developed in collaboration with real estate developer Yakir Gabai—a figure described by Kushner as “one of the most successful” and “brilliant”—aims to redevelop Gaza into zones that foster economic opportunity.

Kushner emphasized that the plan includes immediate steps toward Hamas demilitarization under an agreement they have signed, which he stated is a prerequisite for reconstruction. He noted that the project would begin in Rafah, creating workforce housing and industrial zones within three years with the goal of achieving 100% full employment.

The presentation outlined a phased approach to rebuild Gaza, drawing from global best practices in governance and humanitarian aid. Kushner credited the initiative to President Trump’s leadership and collaboration with international partners including Israel, Turkey, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and the United Arab Emirates.

Kushner warned that Hamas must demilitarize for reconstruction efforts to proceed, stating that failure to do so would hinder Gaza’s development. He also highlighted ongoing humanitarian support as part of the broader strategy.
