According to Trump’s statements on TruthSocial, Governor Walz called the president seeking cooperation, describing it as a “very good call” where they were aligned. Trump stated he would have Tom Homan contact Walz to pursue further discussions in Minnesota.

Trump also confirmed a productive conversation with Mayor Frey, noting that Tom Homan will meet with him tomorrow to continue the dialogue. The president cited past successes in reducing crime across cities including Washington, D.C., Memphis, Tennessee, and New Orleans, Louisiana.
