A 26-year-old man from Skiatook, Oklahoma, has been convicted of ten felony charges after repeatedly calling for the assassination of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents on social media platform X (formerly Twitter).
Logan Murfin was found guilty by a federal jury in the Northern District of Oklahoma. The convictions include five counts of Threatening to Assault and Murder Federal Law Enforcement Officers with Intent to Impede, Intimidate, Interfere, and Retaliate, and five counts of Interstate Communication with a Threat to Injure.
According to court documents, Murfin used the pseudonym “Azulenq” to post threatening messages on X in September and October 2025. His posts described ICE agents as reenacting Nazi Germany and called for their assassination. Some of his posts included phrases such as: “Every ICE agent needs shot between the eyes ‘just following orders’ isn’t acceptable,” and “Ice gestapo agents need to either be executed publicly.”
U.S. Attorney Clint Johnson stated, “Threatening to kill hard-working federal law enforcement officers will not be tolerated.” Travis Pickard, HSI Dallas Special Agent in Charge, added: “This verdict underscores the seriousness with which threats against federal agents are treated.”
Murfin was arrested after a federal grand jury indicted him in December 2025. During his arrest, he admitted to being angry and “pissed off” at ICE agents and confirmed making the threatening posts on X.
The sentencing hearing is scheduled for a later date. The charges carry a maximum sentence of up to ten years per count.
