TPUSA Reports Surge in Chapter Requests Following Founder’s Assassination

Turning Point USA (TPUSA) has disclosed a significant increase in new chapter applications following the fatal shooting of its founder, Charlie Kirk. A spokesperson confirmed the organization received 18,000 new chapter requests after Erika Kirk addressed her husband’s tragic death.

In a statement shared on social media on September 11, TPUSA expressed profound grief over Kirk’s murder, describing him as “the ideal husband and perfect father.” The group emphasized its commitment to conservative advocacy on campuses, a mission Kirk established in 2012. Authorities continue to investigate the September 10 incident at Utah Valley University, where Kirk was killed by a single gunshot. A rifle linked to the attack has been recovered, but the shooter remains at large.

TPUSA’s statement reiterated its focus on supporting Erika Kirk and their children amid the “incomprehensible loss.” The organization did not provide additional details about the investigation or potential suspects.
