Hollywood Star Keegan Allen Pistol-Whipped in West Hollywood Robbery

A Hollywood actor was left bloodied and dazed after two masked men ambushed him outside an upscale West Hollywood grocery store and stole his watch at gunpoint.

The victim was Keegan Allen, a 37-year-old actor best known for playing Toby Cavanaugh on “Pretty Little Liars.”

According to reports, Allen was loading groceries into his vehicle outside Laurel Supply on Thursday night when two men dressed in black approached him. One carried a silver handgun; the other had a knife.

The confrontation unfolded quickly. Surveillance footage shared after the attack shows Allen surrendering the watch before one of the assailants repeatedly struck him in the head with the gun. Both men then ran toward a waiting vehicle.

Moments later, Allen recorded himself walking through the parking lot with blood streaming from a wound near his forehead. He appeared stunned, out of breath and still trying to process what had happened.

Allen told followers that the attackers threatened to kill him over the watch. His social media post reduced the nightmare to one brutal line: “My life for a watch.”

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the scene at approximately 9:05 p.m. The victim reported that one assailant pointed a gun while the other brandished a knife and demanded his watch and bracelet.

Authorities stated that the gunman struck the victim in the face. The suspects escaped in an unknown vehicle with the watch, leaving Allen with a laceration to his forehead.

Los Angeles County Fire personnel evaluated Allen at the scene. While he was not transported by ambulance, Allen later indicated that he sought hospital care and believed he had suffered a concussion.

Allen also expressed his anger publicly, declaring West Hollywood was no longer safe and challenging California Governor Gavin Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass over whether the region’s surveillance cameras would help identify the attackers.

The investigation is aided by unusually vivid evidence. Allen’s post included what appears to be video of the robbery itself, while the area also has a network of license-plate readers and live cameras intended for law enforcement.

Investigators have referred only to a male adult in their statement. Details match Allen’s account: two men approached, demanded his watch and bracelet, struck him with the handgun, and escaped in a vehicle.

A review of parking-lot footage shows Allen held out his arms and removed his watch while masked men threatened him. One assailant then pistol-whipped him twice before both men fled.

Authorities are asking anyone who recognizes the attackers or has information about the getaway vehicle to contact detectives at the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station.
