USDA Investigates Widespread SNAP Fraud with 5,000 Dead Recipients

The USDA launched an investigation into widespread fraud in the food stamps program, revealing astonishing results. During a recent appearance, Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins discussed numbers showing over 5,000 dead people receiving SNAP benefits, and 500,000 individuals getting it twice under the same name. This was confirmed in twenty-nine states, with potential for higher numbers across all 50 states. The program, which is supposed to provide temporary assistance to citizens in need, has become a burden on working taxpayers. SNAP costs $100 billion annually, with 42 million recipients, but a significant portion goes to able-bodied Americans who don’t work, exploiting the system at everyone else’s expense. Secretary Rollins mentioned upcoming reforms and a “very big announcement” next week.
