WASHINGTON – The mystery surrounding the January 6th pipe bombs that were placed near the Democratic and Republican National Committee buildings has been dramatically deepened following reports from Blaze News, which claims to have identified a suspect whose gait matches the bomber’s walking style in video footage.
According to Blaze News, an investigation led by their reporter Steve Baker concluded that a former US Capitol Police officer bears a striking resemblance to the individual captured on camera placing the bombs. Forensic analysis using software reportedly showed a 94% match between the woman and the suspect seen walking near the DNC complex at approximately 8:16 PM on January 5, 2021.
The source of this information was not disclosed in detail by Blaze News representatives speaking on air, but they suggested it comes from intelligence sources who confirmed their findings. The details were reportedly brought to high-level investigative federal agencies after Baker presented the evidence.
Blaze’s investigation uncovered previously undisclosed aspects of the case:
– A 8.5-minute FBI video released last October was allegedly edited by Blaze News upon closer examination.
– The video appears to have been selectively cut at a point where surveillance vehicles could be seen, but not the suspect themselves.
– There were indications that federal authorities deliberately avoided publicizing certain theories about the bombs’ purpose or placement.
Kerkhoff is reportedly employed with the CIA. In mid-2021 she left Capitol Police after serving as an officer in their Civil Disturbance Unit and training others on crowd control procedures, including less-lethal weapons.
