After days of rumors, Dan Bongino has officially confirmed he is leaving the FBI. The former agent stated he will depart his position in January.
In a statement expressing gratitude, Bongino thanked President Trump, Attorney General Bondi, and Director Patel for the opportunity to serve with purpose. He also emphasized: “Most importantly, I want to thank you, my fellow Americans, for the privilege to serve you.”
Bongino added: “God bless America, and all those who defend Her.”
John Solomon reported that Bongino completed the job he was asked to do: “He DID THE JOB Kash Patel and the President asked him to do” by getting rid of bad eggs and solving certain cases.
President Trump previously indicated Bongino’s departure was expected, praising his work while noting he likely intends to return to his radio show empire.
Critics have noted that Bongino’s credibility took a huge hit following his exit. Some analysts suggest the FBI is filled with Deep State operatives who were sabotaging him at every turn.
With Dan Bongino now freed from the agency, he may be more effective outside it. Still, if Dan Bongino can’t get the job done, what hope is there for anyone else?
