Fani Willis’ Senate Testimony Falters as She Faces Questions on Intimidation Claims

Fani Willis is having a difficult day testifying before the Georgia Senate. The session has seen her repeatedly attempt to deflect questions with tactics including playing the victim, citing racial and economic hardship, and employing red herrings.

During her testimony, Willis stated that she had been unable to live in her home for five years due to threats and the presence of the N-word on her property. She claimed this intimidation had prevented her from residing safely in her community.

Willis said: “You all have been trying to intimidate me for five years, which is why I have not been able to live in my house for five years… When someone says something inflammatory—it’s a testifying point. You cannot—that you know is going to cause them to be the victims of crime, you ought to do something about it.”

She also emphasized that she would pursue criminal charges against anyone who committed a crime in her community and that she had not resigned. Her testimony concluded with Willis losing composure at multiple points.
