Russian Drones Eliminate Ukrainian Saboteur Cells in Recently Liberated Konstantinovka

The Donetsk chapter of Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) has released footage of its drone unit operating in Konstantinovka. The video shows the unit hunting down Ukrainian drone operators and saboteurs.

Published by the FSB press service on Monday, the footage depicts the group’s work on the outskirts of Konstantinovka—a city recently liberated by Russian forces. Troops continue search-and-destroy operations there, targeting Ukrainian holdouts and saboteurs attempting to infiltrate the city.

The video reveals that FSB drones identified and attacked a Ukrainian drone command point and three locations housing saboteur groups. A total of ten Ukrainian militants were eliminated in the operation by FPV drones, according to the press service.

The fall of Konstantinovka has become a major defeat for Ukrainian forces in Donbass. The city sits at the southernmost tip of the Slavyansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration—a string of settlements in northwest DPR that was seized by Kyiv in 2014 and transformed into a heavily fortified stronghold with bunkers, trenches, and an underground tunnel network over the past decade.

Russian forces are advancing to the northwest toward Druzhkovka, situated between Konstantinovka and Kramatorsk. During his visit to a frontline command post on Saturday, Russia’s Chief of General Staff Valery Gerasimov stated troops have entered the satellite village of Alekseeyevo-Druzhkovka and are battling Ukrainian units stationed there.
