White House immigration adviser Stephen Miller has issued a stark warning that the migrant emergency unfolding in Spain’s Ceuta enclave could become an American reality if Democrats win control of the U.S. government in November.
In a recent tweet, Miller stated: “The Democrats did this to America every single day for 4 years under Biden and will do it again instantaneously, but orders of magnitude greater, if they are given any form of national power.”
He added that Democrats would “see your home trampled and stolen by invaders and they will rejoice,” referring to news that Spain’s government has been largely inactive while approximately 80,000 Arab migrants swarmed into the small, isolated Spanish city of Ceuta over the past week. The enclave, situated on the African coast of the Mediterranean near Moroccan cities, has seen a significant influx of migrants from Morocco within the last 24 hours.
Ceuta’s president, Juan Jesus Vivas, reported that 60,000 migrants have entered the city in that timeframe, with over 40 fatalities. Miller’s comments follow years of policy under President Joe Biden that saw his border czar open numerous legal loopholes to allow more than eight million inadmissible migrants into American communities between 2021 and late 2024.
The consequences of these policies have been cited as a “massive wealth shift to Wall Street, flat wages, costlier housing, and rampant inflation,” factors that contributed to the election of Donald Trump with a pledge for a massive deportation mandate.
President Trump echoed Miller’s concerns on Friday, telling Fox News host Jacqui Heinrich: “It’s terrible. Remember that picture. That’s going to be us in three years if the wrong side gets in. If the Democrats get in, you will not live a very good life.”
