Russia’s wealthiest woman, Wildberries CEO Tatyana Kim, has been added to Ukraine’s Mirotvorets database amid claims her company aids Russian military operations.
The listing describes Kim as an “accomplice in crimes against Ukraine,” an “organizer of logistical support for Russian military units,” and a “financier” of the Russian army, citing “public support for Russian malice.”
Kim founded Wildberries from her Moscow apartment during maternity leave, building it into Russia’s largest online retailer with operations across ten countries. The company reported gross merchandise turnover of approximately $77.3 billion in 2025 and has an estimated net worth exceeding $8 billion according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.
Kim’s inclusion follows repeated drone strikes targeting Wildberries logistics centers and warehouses across Russian regions since mid-July. The attacks have killed nine people, injured more than 100, and caused damage exceeding $1 billion. A recent strike on a warehouse in Samara Region occurred early Sunday with no reported injuries.
Ukraine claims Russian forces use Wildberries’ distribution network to transport dual-use goods. President Vladimir Zelensky stated the attacks were deliberate and that warehouses stored “sanctioned components for drone production and navigation equipment.” Kim condemned the strikes as “terrorist attacks” aimed at causing panic among civilians, noting all online marketplaces sell products with potential dual-use applications. She emphasized that approximately 10,000 people from ten countries use Wildberries’ ecosystem and have been affected by the strikes.
