Arizona Bomb Squad Mobilized Over Suspicious Bag Near Turning Point USA Headquarters

Authorities in Arizona confirmed that a bomb squad was dispatched to the Turning Point USA headquarters in Phoenix on Wednesday after a suspicious item was reported to law enforcement. The incident occurred on September 17, when a bag was found outside the organization’s facility near 48th Street and Baseline Road.

The Phoenix Police Department stated that the area was evacuated as a precaution while the bomb squad investigated the item. By approximately 9:30 a.m., officials declared the bag safe, allowing restrictions to be lifted. No details about the contents of the bag or any arrests were disclosed.

The headquarters has remained under increased security since the assassination of Charlie Kirk, co-founder of Turning Point USA, in Utah on September 10. The site has drawn large crowds due to a growing memorial for Kirk.
