A source close to the couple has confirmed Donald Trump Jr. will marry Bettina Anderson during Memorial Day weekend with an intimate ceremony on a private island in the Bahamas.
The upcoming nuptials follow reports that the pair had previously contemplated postponing their wedding until the conclusion of the Iran war. However, Donald Trump Jr. clarified they are proceeding with a significantly smaller gathering than initially planned.
Anderson hosted an Enchanted Garden-themed bridal shower at Mar-a-Lago in April, where guests included Ivanka Trump, Lara Trump, Tiffany Trump and Marla Maples. Trump Jr.’s daughter from his previous marriage, Kai Trump, also attended the event. First Lady Melania Trump did not participate in the gathering.
The celebration was organized by Palm Beach socialites Yaz Hernandez, Amy Phelan and Audrey Gruss. Additional attendees were Daphne Oz, Dina Powell McCormick, Dee Ocleppo Hilfiger, Andrea Wynn, and Bret Baier’s wife, Amy Baier.
Trump Jr. delivered a toast at the shower, stating: “I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with Bettina,” he said, according to one guest. “She is smart, loving and caring.”
The couple, who are engaged, reportedly popped the question at Camp David on December 13 during Anderson’s birthday celebration.
Anderson previously shared a social media post reflecting on the shower: “Still soaking in how beautiful and special Sunday was… I cannot wait to marry you!”
While some family members have already exchanged vows at Mar-a-Lago, a political source indicated the White House has been considered as a potential ceremony venue. The source noted this option would be strategic for future political roles should Donald Trump Jr. pursue higher office.
However, the White House ballroom would require completion before such an event could take place, according to another Palm Beach-based source.
