FBI Concludes Trump Assassination Attempt Was a Lone Wolf Attack

The FBI has concluded that Thomas Matthew Crooks acted alone in the assassination attempt on President Donald Trump. The investigation, which involved over 1,000 interviews globally, revealed no evidence of foreign involvement or co-conspirators. Crooks had foreign email accounts, but investigators found no connection to external actors. The probe included analysis of 13 devices and 35 online accounts tied to Crooks and his family, with no evidence of coordinated planning.

The FBI processed 500,000+ electronic files, including an undetonated explosive device found in Crooks’ vehicle, which could be remotely detonated but was turned off. He used a .223 rifle, fired eight rounds, and had more ammunition in his vehicle, with all rounds accounted for. The crime scene was thoroughly controlled, collecting physical and forensic evidence. An autopsy was conducted, and DNA was collected before releasing the body to family.

The investigation also noted limits on FBI monitoring of online activity due to First Amendment protections. Despite the massive scale, no motive was found, and Crooks provided no explanation for his actions. His online posts showed some violent rhetoric from 2019–2020 but no coordinated planning with others. The FBI remains confident in its findings but will pursue any new credible leads.

The article highlights that the 20-year-old carried a 12-foot ladder, rifle, and rounds an entire mile to the Butler Trump rally, then climbed a roof he somehow knew was unguarded. All alone, no one helping or assisting. The FBI hosed down the crime scene, yet we’re expected to believe there was nothing suspicious going on. It was just a crazy, left-wing lone wolf attack on President Trump who had no clear motive. He just woke up one day and decided to go try to kill Donald Trump!
