A few days ago, former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki made controversial comments about Vice President JD Vance’s marriage.
When asked to address Psaki’s remarks suggesting he wants to “save” his wife, Usha, from him, Vance responded with characteristic composure. He called the allegations “disgraceful” and emphasized his gratitude for his partnership with Usha.
“Disgraceful is an understatement,” Vance said. “But of course, the second lady can speak for herself. I am very lucky to have a wonderful wife. I at least hope my wife feels the same about me! I’m very lucky to go on this journey with a very loving wife, to keep on serving the country together.”
Vance highlighted his appreciation for Usha’s role in his life and career, stating, “I’m honored to have Usha by my side on this trip in particular, but always.”
