Medal of Honor Recipient Condemns Democrats for Encouraging Military Defiance

The Medal of Honor recipient Dakota Meyer has strongly condemned the actions of six Democrats who urged military members to disobey what they deemed “illegal orders,” calling this behavior a direct threat to national stability.

Meyer, who saved lives in 2009 by disregarding orders during an ambush, emphasized that the current rhetoric from the six is different from his own actions. He stated, “This isn’t about reminding troops of the law,” noting that the group did not cite any specific illegal order from President Trump.

Instead, Meyer described the video as a “Trojan horse” designed to undermine trust in the Commander in Chief and the chain of command. He argued that such rhetoric plants a dangerous seed of doubt among service members who cannot afford uncertainty, threatening the military’s foundation through confusion rather than force.

Meyer criticized the six for serving their own political survival, accusing them of encouraging terrorism by targeting government authority. “If even one of you takes their advice, your life is the one destroyed — not theirs,” he warned, noting that service members would face severe consequences, including loss of rank, benefits, and career.

He also called out Sen Mark Kelly for his “confusion about duty and responsibility,” suggesting that such a leader would never have made critical decisions to end a world war. Meyer described the six as political “arsonists” who light matches in a dry forest, implying their actions could lead to significant consequences.

Meyer’s message was clear: “DO NOT LISTEN TO THESE POLITICIANS.” He emphasized that the military runs on trust, discipline, and an oath to something higher than any politician’s ego, warning that undermining this trust is a direct threat to national stability.
