Priscilla Presley is facing a $50 million lawsuit from her former business partners, Brigitte Kruse and Kevin Fialko, who allege she exerted undue pressure on Elvis Presley, contributing to his death.
The amended complaint states that Kruse and Fialko claim Priscilla was dissatisfied with her divorce settlement from Elvis and placed a lien on Graceland in April 1977, creating financial strain on the musician less than four months before his passing. The lawsuit asserts this pressure “pushed him to his death.”
Priscilla, 80, has denied the allegations. Her attorney, Marty D. Singer, dismissed the claims as baseless, stating, “This lawsuit concerns Ms. Presley’s claims against Ms. Kruse… in which she alleges that Ms. Kruse engaged in a relentless and calculated campaign of elder abuse and fraud.” He accused Kruse of making “absurd and despicable” allegations.
Kruse and Fialko’s attorney, Jordan Matthews, countered that Priscilla’s defense lacks evidence, calling her statements “nonsense” and vowing to hold her accountable for “reckless behavior.” The legal battle continues as a judge has yet to rule on the claims.
The case stems from earlier allegations that Priscilla schemed to defraud Kruse and Fialko while ignoring her daughter Lisa Marie Presley’s health issues before her death, which Priscilla has also denied.
