Rudy Giuliani Seriously Injured in High-Speed Collision

Rudy Giuliani, former New York City mayor, was severely injured in a car accident on August 30, 2025, according to an official statement released by his team. The incident occurred in New Hampshire when Giuliani stopped to assist a woman involved in a domestic violence situation. He remained at the scene until emergency responders arrived.

Following this, Giuliani’s vehicle was struck from behind at high speed while traveling on a highway. He sustained a fractured thoracic vertebrae, multiple lacerations and contusions, as well as injuries to his left arm and lower leg. Giuliani was transported to a trauma center, where he is receiving medical care.

A statement from Giuliani’s team emphasized that the accident was not a targeted attack and urged the public to respect his privacy during recovery. “He is in good spirits and recovering tremendously,” said Michael Ragusa, head of Giuliani’s security. “He’ll be released in a few days and he’s doing great. Conscious, alert, strong. He’ll be back to business as usual this week.”

No further updates were provided at the time of the statement.
