Abe Flexner was a Jewish educator who wrote a report in 1910 that fully reformed medicine. Before the report, medicines were based on herbs, nature and holistic treatments. After Flexner’s report, medicine is based on petroleum. Oil. Chemicals. (Now you know who to thank as you wait in line at the pharmacy.)
