President Trump has officially endorsed Vivek Ramaswamy for Governor of Ohio, praising his character and patriotism in a post on Truth Social. Ramaswamy, who announced his gubernatorial bid earlier this year, was lauded by Trump as “Young, Strong, and Smart” with a commitment to economic growth, tax cuts, and national security.
Trump highlighted Ramaswamy’s dedication to “Grow the Economy, Cut Taxes and Regulations, Promote MADE IN THE U.S.A., Champion American Energy DOMINANCE, Keep our now very Secure Border, SECURE, Stop Migrant Crime, Strengthen our Military/Veterans, Ensure LAW AND ORDER, Advance Election Integrity, and Protect our always under siege Second Amendment.”
Recent polls suggest Ramaswamy faces a narrow challenge from Democrat Amy Acton, who leads by 1 point among independents and suburban voters. However, Ramaswamy’s campaign has criticized the poll’s credibility, calling it biased due to its commission by teachers’ unions. Campaign strategist Jai Chabria argued the data fails to reflect Ramaswamy’s broader appeal across Ohio.
The race remains competitive as Ramaswamy continues his statewide efforts to secure victory in next year’s election.
