Trump Jokes About Health Rumors During White House Event

Despite persistent negative coverage from mainstream media, President Donald Trump recently made light of recent rumors questioning his health during a White House Rose Garden event.

At the gathering, Trump praised the press for being “very good lately,” though he humorously noted that one particular rumor about his well-being was entirely incorrect. He referenced missed press conferences, explaining that after skipping an event due to meetings at a club, media outlets falsely speculated about his condition. “They said… I got to the club, ‘Sir, are you okay? Are you okay?’ The fake news was at it again,” he remarked.

Trump also highlighted remarks from Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-TX), whom he called an “unbelievable doctor.” Jackson reportedly stated that Trump was the healthiest among former presidents, a claim Trump dismissed with characteristic wit.

The president later held a three-hour press conference to address the controversy, joking about renaming the Department of Defense to the Department of War.
