President Trump has stated in a recent interview with Miranda Devine on “Pod Force One” that the 2020 U.S. presidential election was rigged and his team now knows who responsible, without naming specific individuals.
During the discussion, Trump said: “The election was rigged. We know who rigged the election.” He added that he has full knowledge of the matter but declined to name anyone, stating: “Let’s see what happens.”
The remarks follow a January 21, 2026 address at the World Economic Forum in Davos where Trump claimed: “The war with Ukraine is an example. We are thousands of miles away… It’s a war that should have never started, and it wouldn’t have started if the 2020 U.S. Presidential election weren’t rigged.”
Trump has consistently advocated for stricter voter identification laws, proof of citizenship requirements, and an end to mail-in voting as part of his approach to ensuring “strong elections.” He previously warned that those involved in rigging the 2020 election would face legal consequences.
