Trump to Attend Graham’s Fundraiser as Part of 2026 Midterm Strategy

President Donald Trump is set to participate in a re-election campaign fundraiser for Senator Lindsey Graham next month, according to the senator’s campaign. The event, titled the “Trump-Graham Classic,” will be a golfing tournament designed to support both Graham’s reelection bid and Republican National Committee efforts.

The fundraiser marks Trump’s first official campaign appearance of the 2026 midterm election cycle. Earlier this year, Trump publicly endorsed Graham on Truth Social, praising him as a loyal ally and stating, “Senator Lindsey Graham has my Complete and Total Endorsement for Re-Election — HE WILL NOT LET YOU DOWN.”

Graham’s campaign has reported over $14 million in cash reserves, following a $1.7 million fundraising haul in the third quarter. The event aims to bolster Republican control of Congress during Trump’s remaining term, avoiding a repeat of the 2018 midterm losses that weakened his administration. Trump has avoided endorsing competitive GOP Senate candidates in Texas and Georgia but is aligning with Graham, who faces no major primary or general election challenges.
