Oklahoma Launches TPUSA Chapters in All Public High Schools, Aims to Counter Leftist Influence

The state of Oklahoma has partnered with Turning Point USA (TPUSA) to establish chapters in every public high school, according to State Superintendent Ryan Walters. The initiative, announced via a video on X, aims to promote conservative values and challenge what Walters described as “liberal propaganda” in education.

Under the plan, any Oklahoma high school with at least three students interested in starting a TPUSA chapter will receive support from the organization. TPUSA will assist with official recognition, connect student leaders with field representatives, help secure teacher sponsors, and provide materials such as constitutions, bylaws, and activism kits. The goal is to empower students to “organize, lead, and advocate for American values” on campus.

Walters emphasized that the effort reflects Charlie Kirk’s legacy, calling his assassination a catalyst for the movement. “Our kids must get involved and active,” he stated, vowing to “fight back against the radical left” and teachers unions. The initiative has sparked calls for other states to adopt similar measures.
