Bill Gates reportedly maintained a secret arrangement with his former girlfriend, Ann Winblad, allowing him to spend one weekend each year at her beach cottage in North Carolina after they broke up in 1987. This tradition continued for more than a decade.
In late 2014, Rick Allen Jones, an engineer employed at Bill and Melinda Gates’ waterfront home in Medina, Washington, was arrested by Seattle police for possessing over 6,000 child pornography images. Prosecutors alleged that Jones shared the images using his Gmail account. Jones received a sentence of 90 days in jail.
Investigators identified Jones as working at the $147 million waterfront estate when they discovered online images linked to sexual exploitation of children. The arrest case also involved the Gates family property, with police tracing Jones to his workplace after initial identification through digital evidence.
Additionally, Bill Gates has been linked to Jeffrey Epstein through multiple meetings beginning in 2011. Reports indicate Gates met with Epstein on several occasions, including a notable meeting in New York City in 2013.
