FBI Thwarts Alleged 23-Man Drone-Sniper Attack Targeting White House UFC Event

The FBI has thwarted an alleged plot involving a coordinated attack targeting President Trump’s White House UFC event. According to federal authorities, officials became aware of the threat on June 10, 2026, and executed a multi-state operation that successfully prevented the allegedly planned attacks before they could occur.

Tony Seruga has detailed the alleged scheme as a 23-person drone-and-sniper operation, with five individuals reportedly arrested. A federal criminal complaint and affidavit filed in the Southern District of Ohio charge Tycen Proper with planning an attack during the event scheduled for Sunday, June 14, 2026. The document states that Proper became increasingly isolated from his family and spent significant time communicating online with unidentified persons. Family members reported he made recent statements expressing sympathy for Adolf Hitler and posted anti-Semitic content on Facebook.

On June 11, 2026, law enforcement executed a search warrant on Proper’s Apple iPhone, which had been seized by the Knox County Sheriff’s Office to preserve evidence. A preliminary review of the device uncovered encrypted Signal group chats outlining detailed plans for an attack in Washington D.C. The communications included maps of the National Capitol Region, sniper locations, and potential drone launch sites.

During questioning, Proper admitted to coordinating with others to stage a demonstration on the north side of the White House. As this occurred, the group intended to deploy small drones carrying explosives over the north side of the UFC arena. The detonation would force attendees and high-value targets (HVTs) to flee southward. Proper stated that members of his group would act as snipers and additional shooters at or near the southern evacuation point, targeting both the crowd and HVTs.

The intended victims included wealthy individuals and politicians. According to Proper, the attack was designed to “jumpstart” a revolution in the United States. Federal authorities confirmed the threat was detected and neutralized prior to the event. The affidavit indicates some group members held beliefs that the U.S. needed to be “torn down and rebuilt.”

FBI Director Kash Patel stated that the bureau, law enforcement partners, and the Department of Justice acted rapidly to stop the alleged attacks. Proper remains charged with the allegations pending court proceedings.
