FDA Launches Urgent Investigation into Unexplained Child Deaths Post-COVID Vaccination

For years, families have sought answers about the sudden deaths of their healthy children following COVID-19 vaccination. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is now conducting an “intense investigation” into these cases, as Commissioner Dr. Marty Makary acknowledged the government’s data can no longer be ignored.

In an interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper, Makary confirmed the FDA is reviewing autopsy reports, interviewing families, and analyzing records from the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS), which lists 202 child deaths after COVID vaccination. Experts note the true number could be higher due to chronic underreporting, a flaw the FDA has acknowledged.

The probe follows years of delays by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), which Makary said obstructed data access. “We got blocked,” he revealed, citing leadership resignations at the CDC. VAERS, the government’s reporting system, is criticized for reliability issues, with less than 1% of adverse events reported, according to a 2011 Harvard study. A 2022 audit found one in three COVID vaccine injury reports were hidden or deleted.

Analyst Albert Benavides noted child deaths may be undercounted in VAERS, citing summaries showing three times more cases than official records. The FDA’s investigation follows pressure from medical professionals and advocacy groups. Dr. Peter McCullough called the probe “very late” and demanded a halt to vaccinations until results are known.

Mary Holland of Children’s Health Defense welcomed the move but questioned the delay. The FDA’s decision to end emergency use authorization for vaccines, restricting them to high-risk individuals, suggests growing doubts about their universal necessity. Makary highlighted that 85% of healthcare workers skipped last year’s booster, reflecting waning confidence.

The investigation raises questions about suppressed information. Parents have shared stories of children dying after vaccination, dismissed by officials. In one case, a 7-year-old girl died five days after her first shot, with her death certificate citing “complications from coronavirus infection” without mentioning the vaccine.

The CDC has not released an official count of deaths linked to vaccines, leaving families to rely on VAERS reports and whistleblower accounts. The FDA’s findings are expected soon, but after years of delays, the public remains uncertain about the full truth.
