Trump’s Gaza Peace Plan Advances with Hamas Exclusion Confirmed

President Trump’s second term is increasingly marked by significant foreign policy achievements, including notable strides toward world peace. Central to this progress is a critical initiative aimed at ending violence in Gaza, with recent developments indicating substantial advancements.

In a meeting with Israeli President Isaac Herzog on Wednesday, US Ambassador to the United Nations Mike Waltz reported that detailed negotiations for the next phase of the cease-fire are underway. The agreement will include explicit language barring Hamas from any future governance structure in Gaza.

Waltz stated, “Hamas has to go,” underscoring President Trump’s firm stance: “There will not be any more Hamas.” He added that President Trump has been clear about achieving this outcome through whatever means necessary.

Following last month’s UN Security Council vote approving Trump’s peace plan, Waltz noted that the United States and its allies would soon announce the framework for the so-called Board of Peace—a transitional authority led by President Trump to govern Gaza temporarily.

Trump’s proposal envisions a de-radicalized, terror-free zone in Gaza that does not threaten neighboring countries while being redeveloped for the benefit of Gazans. Under this plan, Israeli forces would withdraw from the region, and a technocratic Palestinian committee—operational without political affiliations—would manage daily public services and municipalities.

This committee will be overseen by an international transitional body known as the Board of Peace, chaired by President Trump alongside other heads of state. The resolution establishing this framework has been formalized as international law.
