The Major Cities Chiefs Association (MCCA), a group comprising nearly 80 executives from major U.S. cities, has published an 11-page guide detailing chilling encounters with unidentified aerial phenomena and procedures for reporting such incidents. The document warns that these objects pose “significant safety risks to law enforcement air support units,” urging teams to remain vigilant during helicopter operations.
The report includes firsthand accounts from officers who described observing triangular craft with green lights gliding through the sky. One November 2023 incident in Blairsville, Georgia, involved an officer reporting a “triangle craft with 3 dim green lights per side” before a nearby resident claimed to see “something running outside of his home.”
The guide cites testimony from David Grusch, a former U.S. Air Force intelligence official who appeared before Congress in 2023 describing aircraft with “nonhuman origins.” It also references recent U.S. government investigations into unexplained aerial phenomena and provides links to reporting websites for officers.
A police officer’s account describes witnessing the object near his windshield while driving at night, noting it disappeared behind trees within minutes. Grusch stated he had observed common aircraft patterns but described this sighting as “unlike anything I had ever witnessed.”
The document emphasizes that such encounters have been increasingly reported across U.S. cities and aligns with recent congressional hearings where officials acknowledged the growing number of unidentified aerial phenomena sightings. Elon Musk has previously stated he has not seen evidence of extraterrestrial life despite extensive space observation efforts.
