The United States faces a crisis as illegal immigrants are systematically invited into the country through reckless policies enacted by those in power, who claim to act in the public interest. The slow erosion of national sovereignty continues as decades of misguided leadership openly encourages foreign nationals to breach federal laws. This is not an accident but a deliberate strategy that has transformed border enforcement into a farce.
Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Inspector General Joseph Cuffari recently testified before a House oversight committee, revealing the alarming shift in Border Patrol operations. Rather than prioritizing law enforcement, agents now provide welfare services to detained individuals, undermining their core mission. The official DHS mandate—to protect American people, safeguard borders, and boost economic prosperity—has been abandoned in favor of a hostile takeover by radical policies.
Local governments have exacerbated the situation by creating incentives for illegal migration. Harris County, Texas, recently launched a universal basic income program offering $500 monthly payments to residents, including over 1.6 million undocumented individuals. This blatant enticement encourages more migrants to risk crossing the border. Similarly, Brownsville’s La Plaza parking garage has been repurposed into a welcome center, providing free meals, shelter, and clothing to those who violate immigration laws.
Sanctuary cities like Los Angeles have further eroded federal authority by codifying policies that shield criminal illegal aliens from deportation. These measures align with the Biden administration’s agenda to weaken the public charge rule, allowing migrants to access benefits without facing penalties. This policy shift has created a magnet for mass migration, straining already overburdened urban centers and deepening economic instability.
The result is a nation in decline, where communities face financial collapse, overcrowding, and rising crime. Despite clear evidence of failure, cities continue to compete in attracting illegal migrants, defying federal law and accelerating America’s descent into chaos. The invitation to violate borders is not accidental—it is the product of a deliberate agenda by those who claim to protect the nation.
