Barron Trump, the 19-year-old son of former U.S. President Donald Trump, has reportedly moved back into the White House for his second year of college, marking a shift in his academic and personal life. The New York Post reported that the young Trump will attend New York University’s (NYU) campus in Washington, D.C., rather than the university’s New York location, bringing him closer to his parents, President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump.
Barron, who spent his freshman year at NYU’s Greenwich Village campus in New York City, is now enrolled at the DC campus, which accommodates up to 120 students per semester. The program focuses on fields such as politics, public policy, history, economics, and journalism. During his first year, Barron lived in Trump Tower in Midtown Manhattan while commuting to Washington Square Park, occasionally traveling to Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, to be with his father.
The decision to relocate to D.C. has been linked to Donald Trump’s claims that the city is safer than New York City. A recent video shared on X (formerly Twitter) offers a rare glimpse of Barron speaking, featuring him greeting an unseen individual and UFC president Dana White. The clip, uploaded by Art of the Surge, highlights Barron’s voice in a previously unrecorded moment.
Barron has also made public appearances, including a viral photo from Mar-a-Lago where he stood alongside conservative figures such as entrepreneur Patrick Bet-David, MMA fighter Colby Covington, and social media influencer Bo Loudon. The image, shared by businessman Justin Waller, showcased Barron’s towering 6-foot-7-inch frame, drawing comparisons to his father’s stature.
Donald Trump has occasionally referenced his son’s height, joking in January 2024 that it was due to his late grandmother’s cooking. Meanwhile, Barron’s public presence remains minimal, with most interactions limited to private settings or brief appearances at political events. Despite his low-profile nature, his movements and associations continue to attract attention from media and social platforms.
