During an interview with reporters who authored a book on his presidency, Donald Trump asserted he wielded more power than historical figures including Joseph Stalin, Mao Zedong, Genghis Khan, and Attila the Hun due to his global influence. The book reveals Trump described these leaders as maintaining power through fear, remarking, “Who would ever do a thing like that? Right?”
The account details how Trump referred to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as a “con man” whom “all the Jews” hated. During a phone call with Netanyahu and Middle East envoys, Trump exclaimed: “Everybody’s sick of you, Bibi… All the Jews are sick of you.”
Additionally, the book documents Trump’s reaction to an administration lawyer who asserted no election fraud occurred in 2020. Trump labeled the individual “a bad one” and directed federal resources against them. The book also describes Trump’s recent obsession with gold and his tendency to express anger over perceived slights, including a comment about historical figures where he claimed to be “the first leader to be willing to use that power on a global scale.”
A note attributed to Gary Player’s longtime caddy was shared by Trump, stating: “Donald Trump is, without question, the most powerful man that the planet has ever known — by a long way.”
